Tracey Turmel

Associate Coaching Team

Tracey Turmel has been at the fore-front of coaching in the Channel Islands since 2002, and established her business coaching practice, CIEC, in 2004, specialising in high-impact, 1-to-1 and team coaching for directors, senior managers and business owners. She also delivers in-house coaching skills training to a wide variety of organisations, including the Government of Jersey.

CIEC is driven by core values: Clarity, Integrity, Empowerment and Challenge, which guide Tracey’s approach on a daily basis.

Clients include key employees within a diverse range of organizations and sectors, in Jersey and Guernsey as well as internationally. Tracey has been privileged to have coached and facilitated workshops in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Canada and Mauritius.

She is accredited at PCC level with the industry-leading International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is an ICF Mentor Coach.

Tracey has also undertaken specialised training to work in cross-cultural environments with 4C’s Culture Mastery (Cultural Business Consulting) and was for a period, the Inter-cultural Coach for the Channel Islands with BGRS (Global Relocation Service). She currently collaborates in this area with Dr Alexandra Morgan, author of ‘Coaching International Teams’.

Although each coaching client and context is unique, themes often recur when dealing with management and leadership skills, and Tracey frequently coaches around issues such as communication, engagement, work-place relationships and confidence: all areas which traditional training typically fails to impact, yet which are vital, if people, and therefore organisations, are to perform to their optimum. As well as coaching, she frequently delivers bespoke workshops on these themes with client organisations.

Her individual coaching clients often report decreased stress-levels, as coaching encourages them to take responsibility for their situation, and explore strategies for making sustainable changes, with significant results, not only for the individual client, but also for their direct reports.

Her office in Jersey, which is designed specifically to offer a discrete and welcoming coaching environment, is at 20 Hill Street, in the heart of St Helier. By encouraging clients to leave their own work-place behind, they are able to ‘step away from the business, in order to work on it’. She also works remotely via ZoomPro.
